**Massive Leeds Derby Coming to Sky Sports: Time to Show Our Champions League Class**
Reds, mark your calendars! Sky Sports have confirmed they’ll be broadcasting our trip to Elland Road to face Leeds United in what promises to be an absolutely electric atmosphere. This is the kind of fixture that gets the blood pumping, and with Michael Carrick’s side riding high after securing Champions League football with that brilliant third-place finish last season, we’ll be heading into hostile territory with genuine confidence.
The Leeds rivalry never disappoints for drama and intensity. These matches are scrappy, physical battles where form often goes out the window. But let’s be honest: we’re a different beast under Carrick. Eleven wins from sixteen games as interim boss, victories over City, Arsenal, and Liverpool. The man knows how to get results when it matters most, and that’s exactly why the board handed him the permanent contract through 2028.
With the quality we’ve added this summer, Benjamin Šeško, Matheus Cunha, and Bryan Mbeumo all settling in during pre-season, we’ve got firepower that should terrify any Championship opposition… sorry, any opposition full stop! Bruno Fernandes will be absolutely buzzing for this one, and you know Marcus Rashford loves turning up for the big occasions.
Sky Sports are also showing Liverpool hosting Arsenal, which actually works in our favour. Let those title rivals beat each other up while we quietly go about our business. After the chaos of the Amorim era ending in January, Carrick has brought stability, identity, and most importantly, winning football back to Old Trafford.
The 2026-27 campaign is shaping up beautifully. Champions League nights are returning, the squad depth looks exceptional, and we’ve got a Head Coach who bleeds red. Leeds away on Sky? Bring it on. Time to remind everyone why Manchester United are back where we belong.
