**BALEBA JOINS THE REDS: CARRICK ADDS STEEL TO HIS MIDFIELD**

Get in! Manchester United have secured the signing of Carlos Baleba from Brighton, and this is exactly the sort of business we need to be doing. The Cameroonian powerhouse brings physicality, energy and bite to our engine room, qualities we’ve desperately needed since certain departures over the past year.

Michael Carrick clearly knows what his squad requires. After that brilliant end to last season where he dragged us to third place and Champions League football, our permanent Head Coach is putting his stamp on this team. Baleba is only 20 years old but already proven in the Premier League. He’s shown at Brighton he can dominate the middle of the park, break up play and drive forward with real authority.

What makes this signing perfect is how it complements what we already have. Bruno Fernandes provides the creativity, Kobbie Mainoo offers that silky technical ability, and Manuel Ugarte brings tenacity. Now Baleba adds another dimension: raw athleticism and defensive solidity. Youri Tielemans gives us experience, but competition is healthy. We need depth if we’re serious about challenging on multiple fronts next season.

Remember, we’re back in the Champions League. We can’t afford to be caught short when fixtures pile up. Carrick proved during that incredible interim spell that he understands what United DNA looks like: pace, power and winning mentality. Beating City, Arsenal and Liverpool wasn’t luck. It was tactics and character.

Brighton won’t be happy losing another quality player, but that’s what happens when the biggest club in the world comes calling. Omar Berrada and Jason Wilcox are clearly backing Carrick’s vision with proper investment.

The 2026-27 season can’t come soon enough. With Baleba patrolling that midfield alongside our existing talent, European nights at Old Trafford are going to be special. This is statement business, Reds. We’re building something serious here.
