**Sesko Gets the Nod: United Line Up for Champions League Opener**

Right then, Reds, it’s finally here! European football is back at Old Trafford and Benjamin Sesko is leading the line as we kick off our Champions League campaign against Sabah. This is what it’s all about, lads.

Michael Carrick has made his selection and it’s great to see our Slovenian striker getting the start. Sesko showed us plenty of promise last season and now in his second year with the club, he’ll be desperate to make his mark on this European stage. The Champions League is where legends are made, and with the new league phase format giving us eight different opponents, every match counts from the off.

Sabah might not be the biggest name in our group, but there are no easy games at this level. We’ve got Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, and SportingCP still to come, so getting three points on the board tonight is absolutely crucial. The Old Trafford faithful will be bouncing under the lights, and the atmosphere should give the boys that extra edge they need.

It’s brilliant to be back among Europe’s elite after Carrick guided us to that third place finish last season. Eleven wins in sixteen games as interim boss, beating City, Arsenal and Liverpool along the way, and then getting the job permanently in May. The man’s earned every bit of respect from the Stretford End, and now he’s got the chance to show what he can do on the continental stage.

This new Champions League format means we need to hit the ground running. Eight matches in the league phase, no room for slow starts or dropped points against the so-called smaller sides. Sesko up front, hopefully Bruno pulling the strings, and our lads ready to make a statement.

Come on United, let’s light up this competition and remind Europe exactly who we are!
