**CARRICK’S REDS READY FOR BRIGHTON BATTLE: MOUNT AND RASHFORD LEAD THE CHARGE**

Right lads, it’s matchday and Michael Carrick has named a cracking lineup to take on Brighton! Mason Mount, Marcus Rashford, Shea Lacey and Benjamin Šeško all get the nod in what looks like an attacking statement from our gaffer.

This is exactly what we want to see from Carrick. After the brilliant end to last season where he dragged us to third place and Champions League qualification, he’s showing he means business in his first full campaign as permanent Head Coach. Mount starting is massive news for the lad, who’s been desperate to prove himself in a United shirt. If he can stay fit and get a proper run of games, we all know the quality he possesses.

Rashford leading the line alongside Šeško gives us genuine pace and power up top. The Slovenian had a solid first season with us last year, and having him paired with Marcus could be lethal if they click. And young Lacey getting minutes? That’s the United way, giving our academy prospects a chance to shine on the big stage.

Brighton are never an easy opponent these days, but this squad should have more than enough to get the job done at Old Trafford. With Bruno Fernandes pulling the strings in midfield alongside the likes of Kobbie Mainoo and our summer additions Youri Tielemans, we’ve got the creativity and steel to dominate.

The Champions League kicks off this month with Bayern Munich visiting the Theatre of Dreams, so building momentum now is absolutely crucial. Three points today keeps the positive energy flowing and shows that Carrick’s United are ready to compete on all fronts this season.

Come on you Reds, let’s get behind the lads and show Brighton what Old Trafford is all about! This is our year to make noise again.
