**Carrick’s United Drop More Points in Frustrating Leeds Stalemate**

The wait goes on, Reds. Another match, another dropped points as we were held to a 1-1 draw by Leeds at Old Trafford, and the winless run continues to pile pressure on Michael Carrick’s shoulders.

Look, there were positives to take from this one. The commitment was there, the formation change showed tactical flexibility, and you could see the lads were giving everything. But at this stage of the season, effort alone doesn’t cut it. We need results, and we need them now.

This is Manchester United we’re talking about. We’ve got quality all over the pitch. Bruno Fernandes pulling the strings, Benjamin Šeško leading the line, Matheus Cunha providing creativity. The defensive partnership of Matthijs de Ligt and Lisandro Martínez should be keeping clean sheets for fun. Yet here we are, four matches into the Premier League campaign, and we still can’t string together a win.

Carrick got the permanent job back in May, and we all backed him. Club legend, knows the DNA, understands what it means to wear the shirt. But sentiment only gets you so far in this business, and Omar Berrada and the INEOS hierarchy will be watching these results closely. The Champions League campaign is underway, expectations are sky high, and dropping points at home to Leeds is simply not acceptable.

The formation tweak is encouraging because it shows Carrick isn’t afraid to adapt. Maybe Carlos Baleba needs more minutes in midfield. Perhaps it’s time to give Patrick Dorgu a run out wide. Something needs to spark this team into life because the talent is clearly there.

We’ve been patient, we’ve kept the faith, but this winless streak needs to end soon. The next few fixtures could define Carrick’s tenure. Come on United, show us what you’re made of.
