# United Still Hunting for Midfield and Attack Reinforcements
Listen, we all know what we saw last season – the midfield got absolutely overrun far too many times, and our attack? Let’s just say the goals didn’t exactly flow like the glory days, did they?
So it’s music to my ears hearing that the club are still actively chasing at least one more midfielder and potentially another forward before the window slams shut. And honestly, it’s about bloody time we showed some ambition in the market!
The midfield has been crying out for reinforcements since we lost the legs and creativity we desperately needed. We can’t keep relying on the same combinations that left us exposed game after game. We need someone who can control the tempo, break up opposition attacks, and actually transition us from defence to attack without losing the ball in dangerous areas. Is that too much to ask for a club of United’s stature?
As for the forward line, yes we’ve got talent up top, but depth wins you titles, lads. One injury and suddenly we’re scrambling. We need options that genuinely frighten defenders, players who can step in and maintain our attacking threat across a brutal Premier League season plus European competition.
What’s encouraging is that the club seems to finally understand we can’t just patch things up – we need to properly balance this squad. No more square pegs in round holes. Get players who fit the system and complement what we already have.
The window’s still open and there’s time to get this right. Other clubs are strengthening around us, and we can’t afford to stand still. Arsenal, City, Liverpool – they’re all adding quality. We need to match that ambition or risk falling further behind.
Come on United, get these deals over the line! The fans are desperate to see this squad compete for silverware again, not just make up the numbers!
