# Red Devils Land Baleba in Statement £70m Deal as Midfield Revolution Continues

Reds, this is what ambition looks like! Manchester United have just confirmed the signing of Carlos Baleba from Brighton for a massive £70m, and our midfield rebuild is now reaching an eye-watering £148m this summer. The Cameroon international has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with an option for another 12 months, and he’s not hiding his feelings either: United are the “club of my dreams.” Love to hear it!

This is the third midfield addition of the window after we brought in Andrey Santos and Youri Tielemans, and it shows just how serious INEOS and Omar Berrada are about giving Michael Carrick the tools to compete at the highest level. Our Head Coach worked absolute miracles last season, guiding us to third place and Champions League football after taking over in January. Now the board are backing him properly, and that’s what every United fan has been crying out for.

Baleba was one of Brighton’s standout performers, a powerhouse who can drive forward, win the ball back, and dictate tempo. Paired with the likes of Kobbie Mainoo, Bruno Fernandes, and Manuel Ugarte, we’re suddenly looking like we have genuine depth and quality in the middle of the park. No more getting overrun like in seasons past.

The £65m plus £5m in add-ons might seem steep, but this is the market now. If you want the best young talent, you pay for it. Brighton have become experts at developing these gems, and we’ve just nabbed one of their finest.

With Champions League football back on the menu and a Head Coach who knows what it takes to win at Old Trafford, this signing feels like a statement of intent. The rebuild is real, Reds. Carrick’s revolution is taking shape, and we’re ready to challenge again. Bring on the new season!
