**Baleba Set for Old Trafford Baptism of Fire Against Spurs**

Right lads, the moment we’ve all been waiting for could finally be here. Carlos Baleba, our £70m midfield investment from the summer window, looks set to pull on the famous red shirt for the first time when Tottenham roll into Old Trafford. And what a stage to make your debut!

Michael Carrick has been patient with our new number 20, bedding him in carefully during the opening weeks of the campaign. But now it seems the Head Coach is ready to unleash the Colombian enforcer on the Premier League, and frankly, the timing couldn’t be better. We need that bite in the middle of the park, that physical presence who can dominate opponents and drive us forward.

The £70m price tag tells you everything about what INEOS and Omar Berrada see in this lad. They’ve backed Carrick’s vision with serious investment, bringing in Baleba alongside Tielemans and Andrey Santos to revamp our engine room. It’s a statement of intent from the new ownership structure, and now Baleba gets his chance to justify that faith.

A home debut against Spurs is no gentle introduction, mind you. This is sink or swim territory. Old Trafford will be rocking, the intensity will be through the roof, and our fans will be watching closely to see if he’s got what it takes to succeed at this football club. No pressure, Carlos!

The beauty is he won’t be alone out there. He’s got Bruno pulling the strings, Mainoo’s brilliance alongside him, and Ugarte’s experience to lean on. Carrick has built serious depth in that midfield, and competition for places will only make everyone sharper.

Come on Baleba, show us what you’re made of! Time to announce yourself to the Theatre of Dreams and remind Spurs exactly why they should fear coming to OT. Let’s have it!
