# United Land Ederson in £35m Swoop as Carrick Kicks Off Transfer Revolution

Reds, we’re cooking! Michael Carrick isn’t messing about – he’s just secured his maiden signing as our gaffer, and it’s a proper statement of intent. We’ve wrapped up a £35m deal for Atalanta’s Brazilian powerhouse Ederson, and honestly, this feels like exactly the kind of business we should be doing.

For those who haven’t been watching Serie A closely (shame on you!), this lad is the real deal. At 26, he’s entering his absolute prime years and has been bossing the midfield for one of Europe’s most tactically astute sides. Atalanta don’t just let quality players go unless the money’s right, and we’ve clearly convinced them that £35m is enough to prise away one of their key men.

What excites me most? We’re finally addressing that gaping hole in the middle of the park with purpose. Ever since the glory days of prime Carrick himself patrolling that area (the irony isn’t lost on us), we’ve been crying out for someone who can dictate tempo, break up play, and actually protect our backline. Ederson brings that bite and physicality we’ve been desperately missing.

The Brazilian connection at Old Trafford gets stronger too. There’s something poetic about our former midfield maestro Carrick bringing in a midfielder who could become the heartbeat of this team for years to come. At 26, we’re getting him before the massive inflation hits, and he’s got plenty of football left in those legs.

Let’s be real – £35m in today’s market is practically a bargain for proven quality. No more gambling on potential or paying premium prices for fading stars. This feels calculated, smart, and ambitious.

The rebuild under Carrick is officially underway, and if this is just the beginning, we might actually be witnessing something special taking shape at Old Trafford. Welcome to Manchester, Ederson – now let’s get this club back where it belongs!
